Plum's Robyn Moreno sits down with renowned author Jay McInerney and his three dogs. With a career that has spanned the writing spectrum to include novels, short stories, screenplays and wine writing, Jay keeps his readers reading. Outside of the world of the written word, he's involved with the charitable organization Best Buddies that's "dedicated to enhancing the lives of people with intellectual disabilities by providing opportunities for one-to-one friendships and integrated employment."

All summer long, Plum will be feasting on dozens upon dozens of lobster rolls all over the East End and by Labor Day we're going to let you vote for the one you think is the very best.

Fish Farm may be an unassuming place, but their lobster roll is anything but. At the suggestion of William, one of our favorite viewers, Robyn Moreno stopped by for lunch.

This lobster roll was all in the details. A slice of lemon—that we have yet to see on our quest—added a perfect splash of tang to the roll.

All in all, it measured up quite nicely ... but is it nice enough to win? We shall see.

The potential of Alison at the Maidstone Arms was so great we had to send along two hosts to sample their lobster rolls. And what did their taste buds discover?

Well, not only were they treated to a buttered brioche roll but they were also given a break from traditional mayonnaise, as Alison prefers the aioli route.
